What is Sustainable Business/Entrepreneurship? It is an imprecise label describing businesses and persons who sense the critical need to contribute to the environmental health and general well-being of the communities in which they operate, as well as to their customers, stockholders and employees. It also describes employees who commit themselves and their companies or organizations to being as socially and environmentally responsible as prudent. And lastly, it is a label increasingly used by consumers demanding greater civic responsibility and earth-friendly practices from the shops and businesses they frequent. Sustainable Business is good business for everyone. The Center has been collecting information, resources and contacts as a result of the Sustainable Entrepreneurship workshops it has been conducting.
