This guide provides several hundred quick-to-implement and useful ideas in the ten essential areas needing attention for a successful career transition. It can provide renewed encouragement, confidence and commitment to the job search. These ideas have been successfully used by countless numbers of job seekers. It is not so much the amount of career information, or even the quality of it, that assists the job seeker, but the fact that having a few more and new options helps people feel more in control and hopeful that they can succeed in their job search.

This guide is also ideal for career professionals to use with their clients. Clients can identify through the Guide’s, "Job Search Readiness Survey," where they are stuck and resources from the Guide that they might like to use.
